He loves you so much in fact, that He sent His Son to pay the penalty for your sins.
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Sin is disobedience to God.
Sin separates us from a perfect God.
Sin has a penalty.
Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
All that we could earn with our sin was death, but God provided a way because of His perfect love.
Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
1 Corinthians 15:3,4 "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures:"
Hebrews 9:14 "How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?"
Hebrews 9:22 "and without shedding of blood is no remission."
It isn't through a church, or a preacher, or even your best works that gets you to a perfect Heaven.
Heaven is God's abode so it has to be God's Way.
John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
It is only by trusting Jesus to be your Savior that you can have eternal life in God's Heaven. And He has made it simple for us because He loves us!
Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Isn't that great news!? All you have to do is ask Jesus to save you and "thou shalt be saved"!
Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
Won't you call upon Him today to be your Savior?
